Absolute Condo Features & Review:

Absolute Condos at 50 & 60 Absolute Avenue had created quite a stir when they were launched due to the unique design and architecture. Condo buyers and investors bought Absolute Condos at high price points, based on the hype created by the builder. In fact almost 80% of the condos were bought by investors, who were willing to rent quickly to anyone looking to live at these landmark condos.

However, these two towers experienced some teething issues. No other building in Mississauga has come under so criticism as these two towers due to issues ranging from poor management, plumbing/ air-conditioning problems to the type of demography and isolated incidents of crime. Another concern is with the unique circular shape of some of the condo suites making it difficult for residents to find and fit suitable furniture. People usually find a way around this and it is not a major concern.

Over a period of 4-5 years, things have changed for the better surrounding the bigger concerns. Most of the investors have sold their units (many at a loss), and increasingly more condo owners now occupy these towers. The property management is doing a lot to improve the image of the towers. The reception staff is more welcoming and more and more residents are participating in board meetings.

However, now with overall increase Square One condo prices, buying and selling Absolute Condos makes more sense. A lot of condos are exchanging hands. Price to buy is still low in my opinion. The buildings do offer a luxury look and feel. The amenities offered at Absolute are world-class. Sports enthusiasts find living at Absolute a delight. In the next two years, the reserve fund will also start looking healthy. All of these positive measures will help the prices go up in the near future.

50 and 60 Absolute Condos are pets friendly towers. 80 Absolute Condos are pets-friendly condos. 70 and 90 Absolute Avenue Condos are also pets-friendly condos. An additional advantage with 70 and 90 Absolute Condos is that their monthly maintenance or condo fee also covers hydro. Tenants and residents of 50, 60 and 80 Absolute have to pay for hydro separately as per the consumption per condo.
