Thousands of Ideas – One Vision: Residents and Stakeholders
You are Invited to Symposium February 22 & 23
The City will hold a public event to provide an opportunity for residents and stakeholders to participate in the next exciting step in developing a new Strategic Plan for Mississauga for the next 40 years.
The two-day Visioning Symposium follows the successful four-part Speakers Series and kick-off this fall to the City’s public engagement campaign “Our Future Mississauga – Be part of the conversation.” More than 3,000 people attended the Speakers Series, and to date more than 80,000 have connected to the conversation through the series, the City’s website, at City and community events, school presentations, stakeholder meetings held throughout Mississauga and by watching the special three-part “Our Future Mississauga” Cable 10 television series.
The symposium continues the engagement process as participants are invited to “think big” about the future of our city, and help transform the great ideas into strategies that will shape the City’s new strategic plan. The symposium will be structured as an open house and facilitated workshops.
